Before the morning
A calm wedding day is mostly settled beforehand. In the run-up we confirm every address, the collection time, the ceremony start, any planned photograph stop and the reception venue. The chauffeur receives this itinerary in advance and plans the route, including sensible allowances for traffic, so nothing depends on guesswork on the morning itself.
We also confirm the ribbon colour. Ribbons are part of every wedding booking and are fitted before the car leaves, so it arrives already dressed.
Arrival at the house
The chauffeur arrives ahead of the agreed collection time, suited and ready, and parks where the car will look its best for photographs without blocking neighbours. There is no rush to leave. Photographers often like a few frames of the bride or couple beside the car, and the chauffeur will open doors, help with the dress and wait patiently while that happens.
If a parent or bridesmaid is travelling in a second car, such as the seven-seat Mercedes V-Class, that vehicle usually leaves first so the bridal party are already inside the venue when the main car arrives.
The ceremony arrival
On the way the chauffeur manages the pace, arriving at the ceremony at the agreed moment rather than too early. At the venue the car is positioned so the step out, the first view of the dress and the walk to the door all happen in one smooth movement. The Rolls-Royce Phantom's coach doors are particularly good for this, but every car in the fleet is chosen to make a long gown easy to manage.
During the ceremony the chauffeur stays with the car. Nobody has to worry about where it has gone.
Photographs and the transfer
Afterwards many couples take a few minutes for pictures with the car, either at the ceremony venue or at a scenic stop on the way. If you want a stop, tell us in advance so it is built into the fixed hours. The transfer to the reception is often the only quiet time a couple gets together all day, and the chauffeur keeps it that way: no chatter unless you want it, just a smooth, unhurried drive.
At the reception the chauffeur helps you out, confirms whether anything else is needed, and the booking is complete. Extra journeys, such as bringing grandparents on afterwards, can be included if agreed beforehand.
Weather, traffic and small surprises
Wedding days rarely unfold exactly as written, and the chauffeur is prepared for that. If it rains, the car is positioned as close to the door as the venue allows and an umbrella is ready, so the dress and hair arrive intact. If traffic builds on the planned route, the chauffeur already knows an alternative, because the journey was studied in advance rather than left to a sat-nav on the morning.
Small delays at home are normal too. Hair takes longer, a button needs sewing, a photographer wants one more shot. The collection time includes a sensible margin so a few minutes here do not affect the ceremony. If something bigger changes, a quick call to the chauffeur keeps everyone aligned.
The aim throughout is that the couple never has to think about transport at all. It should simply be there, correct and calm, whenever they step outside.
What is included
Every wedding booking includes a suited, experienced chauffeur, ribbons, the car presented immaculately inside and out, and the agreed hours in one fixed price. There are no surprise extras added on the day. If anything about the plan changes, such as a later ceremony start, we simply adjust the timings with you.
